UPDATED: 4:06 pm CDT May 4, 2009STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- Portage County coroner Scott Rifleman said two toddlers found dead in their gasoline-soaked home died of single gunshot wounds to the head.
Rifleman said their mother was the victim of a complex homicide. He declined to elaborate.
The mother's 36-year-old boyfriend has been arrested in the deaths and is scheduled to make an initial appearance in Portage County Circuit Court on Monday.
The bodies of 30-year-old Christine Gollon, 3-year-old Ashley Kettner and 2-year-old Griffin Kettner were found Thursday in their Nelsonville home, a day after deputies went there to check on Golon because her mother was concerned.
Deputies found the boyfriend in the home, holding the couple's infant daughter. Both had been overcome by fumes.
